Domaine Le Van
The estate extends over 9 hectares in Bédoin, at the foot of Mont Ventoux, with parcels spread over several soil types combining sand, clay and alluvial formations.
This geological diversity, combining alluvium, clay and conglomerate, favors deep-rooted vines and contributes to complex aromatic profiles.
The vineyards benefit from a Mediterranean climate tempered by altitude and the influence of the Ventoux, with plots located between 280 and 400 meters.
The vines range in age from recent plantings to older vines, bringing diversity and structure to the wines.
The vineyard is distinguished by the distribution of grape varieties on different soil types, enabling the development of varied and complementary profiles. Grenache, planted on sandy, filtering soils, brings finesse and suppleness, while Cinsault and Viognier, on more clayey soils, contribute to the balance of the whites and rosés.
The age diversity of the vines, particularly for Carignan, Grenache and Syrah, enhances the complexity of the wines produced.
The estate has been committed to organic farming since the 1990s, with certification maintained over time. This approach goes hand in hand with attention to natural cycles, as part of a global approach aimed at respecting the rhythm of the vineyard and its environment.
