Château Font du Broc
French Riviera - Countryside > Arcs
Located in Les Arcs-sur-Argens, Château Font du Broc is a twenty-eight-hectare wine estate that has been certified organic since 2013. The vines are harvested by hand, and constant attention is paid to grape quality.
Each cuvée reflects the character of the terroir and the choice of winemaking methods used on the estate. Both red and white wines are produced with a precise, controlled approach.
The estate is also distinguished by its ageing cellar, modelled on the Abbaye du Thoronet. Guided tours of the cellar enable visitors to learn about the different stages of ageing and cellar work.
Built in the 1990s, Château Font du Broc's wine cellar is directly inspired by the 12th-century Cistercian Abbey of Le Thoronet. This reference is reflected in its sober, functional architecture, designed to optimize wine maturing conditions.
Today, the cellar is a central feature of the estate, contributing to its identity. It is regularly on display during tours, providing a better understanding of the work carried out in the cellar.
Château Font du Broc wines, all organically grown and classified as AOP Côtes de Provence, are made with precision and consistency. The cuvées evolve with each vintage, with particular attention paid to their balance and expression over time.
