Wunderbares Haus Wonderful house

Das Mas Vaudois ist ein wirklich traumhaftes Haus in günstiger Lage nahe Gordes (am Fuß des Hügels). Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit einer schönen Terrasse (jetzt mit Beschattung, abweichend von den Fotos). Es liegt nahe an der Landstraße, aber das haben wir nicht als störend empfunden. Wir kommen seit ca. 10 Jahren regelmäßig ins Luberon, für uns eine der schönsten Gegenden Frankreichs.

The Mas Vaudois is a truly fantastic house in a convenient location near Gordes (at the foot of the hill). Very tastefully decorated, with a nice terrace (now with shade, different from the photos). It's close to the country road, but we didn't find that a problem. We have been coming regularly to the Luberon for about 10 years, for us one of the most beautiful areas in France.

Try not to ask to buy it

The photos helped us to book this place but this day there made us want to come back. And this home is located right off the main road that takes you to Gordes. From the moment you walk in the front gate by the pool, you are immediately consumed by the way picturesque beauty of this place. We know that the place had been recently remodeled, but the upkeep was impeccable, and it felt like we were the first persons to vacation in the home. It was just my husband and I so we never utilize the upstairs bedrooms and bath off of the upstairs family room but we enjoyed movie night upstairs and lots of cooking in the gorgeous kitchen. And they have an extra refrigerator in the laundry room, which makes it wonderful for bigger families. And very quiet and peaceful. We found ourselves sleeping in longer than we normally would. The upstairs primary bedroom face is the lavender field and has beautiful morning light. There’s a restaurant nearby you can walk to for dinner or you can also take a walk up to town. We enjoyed going to all the local villages and did several wine tastings at local vineyards. We can’t wait to come back and bring our friends to have this peaceful and relaxing experience again.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft Beautiful accommodation

Das Ferienhaus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail renoviert und aufwendig ausgestattet worden. Die neu angelegte Boulebahn mit Blick auf Gordes ist das I-Tüpfelchen eines erholsamen Urlaubs gewesen. Wer allerdings die absolute Ruhe sucht und Geräuschempfindlich ist, wird sich über die Geräusche der Landstraße in Nähe des Ferienhauses ärgern. Der Service von Provence Holiday war perfekt. Wir würden das Ferienhaus immer wieder buchen.

The holiday home has been renovated with great attention to detail and has been lavishly furnished. The newly created boules court with a view of Gordes is the icing on the cake of a relaxing holiday. However, if you are looking for absolute peace and are sensitive to noise, you will be annoyed by the noise of the country road near the holiday home. Provence Holiday's service was perfect. We would book the house again and again.
