Lovely house in Fontvieille

It’s not often a house looks even better in real life than in pictures. This beautiful house is extremely comfortable, tastefully decorated and will not disappoint. Having AC in July was perfect. The outdoor area is lovely and we enjoyed time by the pool, sitting under the olive tree and BBQs. Fontvieille is lovely little village - there are bars, restaurants, bakers, shops and even the town arena, with summer entertainment close by the house We highly recommend this house and had a wonderful holiday. The owner is an attentive and helpful host. The apricot jam is delicious too.

Es war einen super Aufenthalt in diese wunderschöne Villa, welche mit sehr gutem Geschmack umgebaut und dekoriert wurde. Die Gastgeber (Sylvie & Olivier) waren super freundlich und zu jeder Zeit erreichbar. Jedes der 4 grosszügige Schlafzimmer hat eine eigene Dusche, was wir bisher noch nie erlebt haben. Es sieht genau so aus wie auf den Bilder, vielleicht sogar noch ein bisschen besser! Wir waren recht früh in der Saison da, heisst noch zu kalt zum baden, jedoch der Pool sieht super aus. In nur wenigen Minuten läuft man zur nächsten Bäckerei und es hat auch ein kleiner Supermarkt, man ist wirklich mitten im Dorf Fontvieille. Ideale Ausgangslage für Golf oder Wanderungen in den Alpilles. Tolle andere Dörfchen wie Maussanne oder Uzès sind in 15. resp. 45 Minuten zu erreichen. Wir können die Villa absolut weiterempfehlen, speziell für eine Gruppe mit Freunden ist es ideal. Wir werden auf jeden Fall zurückkommen, aber dann im Frühling oder Sommer. Die Gastgeber waren auch sehr offen und dankbar über unser Feedback und Vorschläge - z.B, nebst den bereits vorhandenen Tisch und Stühle auf der Terrasse auch eine Lounge (zum Chillen oder Apéro) hinzustellen.

It was a great stay in this beautiful villa, which was rebuilt and decorated with very good taste. The hosts (Sylvie & Olivier) were super friendly and available at any time. Each of the 4 spacious bedrooms has its own shower, something we have never experienced before. It looks exactly like the pictures, maybe even a little better! We were there quite early in the season, which meant it was still too cold to swim, but the pool looked great. In just a few minutes you can walk to the nearest bakery and there is also a small supermarket, you are really in the middle of the village of Fontvieille. Ideal starting point for golf or hiking in the Alpilles. Great other villages like Maussanne or Uzès are in 15th or 45 minutes to reach. We can absolutely recommend the villa, especially for a group of friends it is ideal. We will definitely come back, but then in spring or summer. The hosts were also very open and grateful for our feedback and suggestions - for example, adding a lounge (for chilling out or aperitif) in addition to the existing table and chairs on the terrace.
