Uzès - Gard/Cévennes > Sommières
Set in a former wine cellar organised around a central patio, this restaurant is led by chef Guillaume Dercourt and pastry chef Amandine Sabot. The cuisine follows a contemporary approach while drawing on traditional recipes. Dishes may include fish rillettes with herbs and cream cheese, or roasted scallops served with Camargue rice risotto, parmesan and shellfish emulsion. Desserts such as Paris-Brest reflect the same balance between classic technique and current presentation. The stone-paved patio, centred around an olive tree, provides a distinctive outdoor setting during the warmer months.
Le Patio is set in a former wine cellar close to the centre of Sommières, with a pared-back interior focused on mineral materials.
The renovation highlights original features, including a large glazed wrought-iron arch, while the patio opens during the warmer months for outdoor dining.
Chef Guillaume Dercourt presents a gastronomic menu based on fresh, seasonal ingredients, with a refined and measured approach.
The restaurant has been recognised with a Bib Gourmand in the Michelin Guide and two toques from Gault & Millau in its first year of opening.
