Chez Bastien
The Luberon > Manosque
Located in the historic center of Manosque, this restaurant is run by Bastien Delgado, a native of the town. The chef offers modern Provençal-inspired cuisine, built around seasonal produce. He pays particular attention to meats, especially sweetbreads, and vegetables, which feature prominently on the menu. Among the dishes, a half-cooked tuna with wild garlic or a verbena-peach clafoutis with citrus and almonds illustrate this approach. The menu offers a coherent interpretation of the cuisine, with a good balance between precision and accessibility.
A historic address in Manosque, Le Petit Lauragais has been part of the local landscape for many years, in the heart of the town associated with Jean Giono.
Today, the restaurant is run by Bastien Delgado, a Manosque native who made his debut in the kitchen there. He succeeds Lucette Di Biase, one of the restaurant's key figures, and continues the restaurant's history with a personal approach.
Trained in the hotel schools of Manosque and Sisteron, then in renowned establishments, some of them Michelin-starred, the chef develops a cuisine structured around seasonal produce, in line with his background and local roots.
The result is a cuisine that is firmly rooted in the local area, with continuity between heritage and evolution.
