Bessem
Côte d'Azur / French Riviera > Mandelieu-la-Napoule
Chef Bessem Ben Abdallah trained alongside recognised chefs including Michel Del Burgo, Marc Meneau and Pierre Gagnaire before opening his own restaurant in a townhouse with a terrace shaded by plane trees and centred around a fountain.
His cuisine is personal and Mediterranean in direction, with a focus on balance and ingredient quality. Dishes may include line-caught fish, simply grilled and served with artichoke purée, seasonal vegetables with Parmesan, and a yuzu and combava broth enhanced with tagetes and lovage.
Desserts are led by a dedicated pastry chef, ensuring a consistent level of precision throughout the meal. The chef also produces his own single-plot Tunisian olive oil and keeps hens to supply fresh eggs.
Please note that the restaurant is closed for lunch during the summer season.
Located just outside Cannes, Bessem Restaurant offers a calm setting in a residential area near Mandelieu-la-Napoule, within easy reach of the town centre and the Hôtel de Ville.
The restaurant is set within a green, enclosed space, where the terrace is shaded by plane trees and arranged around a stone fountain. This outdoor area provides a quieter alternative to busier coastal addresses.
A discreet location where the setting supports a relaxed dining experience focused on comfort and continuity.
