Le Clos Saint Pierre

Le Rouret

In 2003, the Michelin Guide awarded a star to chef Daniel Ettlinger, a recognition that has made Le Clos Saint Pierre a renowned gastronomic address in the region. The restaurant comprises two dining rooms with seating for around fifty-five guests, plus a hundred-square-meter terrace that can accommodate around sixty people in the warmer months.

Chef Daniel Ettlinger visits the local market several times a week to select the ingredients for his menus. These daily purchases shape two menus that change regularly according to the produce available.

This approach enables the kitchen to work exclusively with fresh, seasonal produce. Over the years, the chef has forged lasting relationships with a number of local producers, some of whom he has worked with for over twenty years.

In the kitchen, preparation remains simple. The aim is to bring out the natural flavor of fruit, vegetables and fish without unnecessary complexity.

Consistent quality, solid relationships with suppliers and a loyal clientele have enabled Le Clos Saint Pierre to establish itself as a recognized restaurant in the region.

Chef Daniel Ettlinger, awarded one Michelin star, welcomes guests to Le Clos Saint Pierre in the spirit of a traditional table d’hôtes. The restaurant includes two dining rooms accommodating around fifty-five guests, along with a terrace of one hundred square metres that can seat up to sixty people during the warmer months. A RESTAURANT ROOTED IN THE VILLAGE At the beginning of the two thousands, Catherine and Daniel Ettlinger discovered the village of Le Rouret during a walk in the surrounding countryside. They were immediately drawn to its character: the stone buildings, the village church and the central square shaded by plane trees where locals gather to play pétanque. The restaurant itself once served as the village bar, run by a well-known local figure named Françoise. Today, it continues to sit at the centre of village life while welcoming guests from across the region. The setting remains closely connected to the character of Le Rouret, offering a place where regional cuisine and village heritage meet.
