La Chèvre d'Or
Côte d'Azur / French Riviera > Èze
A gastronomic restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean At Château de la Chèvre d’Or, the restaurant sits high above the coast within the medieval village of Èze. From this elevated position, the dining rooms and terraces look across the hills of the Côte d’Azur and the Mediterranean below. Chef Tom Meyer, Meilleur Ouvrier de France, leads the kitchen with a style defined by precise technique and carefully constructed sauces. His menus combine strong flavours with thoughtful pairings, often drawing on local ingredients and seasonal produce. Dishes move between vegetable, herbal and marine influences. Recent combinations include Mediterranean mussels with morels, Scots pine and XO sauce; thorny artichoke with cuttlefish tagliatelle, parmesan and liquorice mint; and red tuna served with shiso, kiwi and cucumber.
