Châteaux les Oliviers de Salettes
Mont Ventoux > Charols
Set in the countryside of the Drôme, Château les Oliviers de Salettes is a sixteenth-century stone property surrounded by woodland and lavender fields. Now operating as a boutique hotel, it offers thirty-two rooms combining period features with modern comfort. Accommodation ranges from double rooms in the Bastide to larger suites in the château, each reflecting the building’s history with a more contemporary approach in selected spaces. The estate provides a range of on-site activities, including pétanque and cooking classes. A spa is available for relaxation, while the restaurant Lavandin presents a gastronomic menu based on seasonal and regional ingredients.
Throughout the year, the gastronomic restaurant led by Kevin Vaubourg and Lucille Routier presents a refined menu shaped by seasonal ingredients, with a focus on balanced, herb-led flavours. Dining takes place in a vaulted dining room or, in warmer months, on the terrace, which offers open views across the estate. A lounge area is available for aperitifs, coffee or digestifs, extending the experience beyond the table. The wine cellar includes a curated selection of regional and international wines, chosen by the in-house sommelier. In March two thousand twenty-five, the restaurant Lavandin was awarded one Michelin star.
