Acte2
In a city known for its annual festival, the influence of theatre extends to the plate.
First, a young couple from the profession have opened their restaurant in the historic centre, set behind a seventeenth-century green wooden door. Then, a warm welcome and a comfortable, informal dining room. Finally, a single menu shaped by fresh, local and seasonal produce.
Dishes reflect this approach, with options such as brandade ravioli served with celery and green apple, or guinea fowl supreme with a reduced jus and parsnip. A concise offering that focuses on ingredient quality and clear execution.
Set behind an imposing seventeenth-century door, Restaurant Acte two offers a calm dining space in the heart of Avignon, away from the busy streets. Déborah manages the dining room, welcoming guests with a friendly and attentive approach in an intimate setting suited to both relaxed and special occasions. In the kitchen, Grégory works independently, preparing a gastronomic menu shaped by the seasons. His cooking is guided by close relationships with trusted local producers, ensuring a consistent focus on ingredient quality. Trained by recognised chefs including Pierre Orsi, Anne-Sophie Pic and Gérald Azoulay, he builds each dish around three principles: careful product selection, precise seasoning and controlled cooking techniques.
