Built in the 18th century, this estate lies in the Luberon, minutes from the village of Gordes. The setting combines heritage and Provençal nature in a preserved atmosphere. The village centre and its shops are easily reached from the property.
The château offers 800 m² (8,611 sq ft) and retains the marks of its history. Two hundred square metres (2,153 sq ft) have been renovated, combining period features and contemporary comfort. The areas still to be renovated allow for a restoration project in keeping with the scale of the building. The building is arranged over two levels.
With 17 rooms, the estate offers a scale suited to a project to be shaped. Its history, setting and remaining work make it a property for a considered restoration.
Exterior
The grounds of around one hectare (2.47 acres), in an elevated position, are planted with trees and include more than twenty olive trees. The tree-filled garden combines local species and Provençal vegetation. From the property, views extend across the surrounding valley and the Luberon hills.
