At the foot of the Luberon, in the countryside around La Tour-d’Aigues, the property enjoys a rural setting without being isolated, close to Ansouis and Lourmarin. Aix-en-Provence and its TGV station can be reached in 40 minutes, placing the mas between the villages of the Sud Luberon and access routes to the city. The area combines proximity to villages with a countryside location.
Created from a former farm, the stone building spans 200 m² (2,153 sq ft) and retains the hallmarks of Provençal architecture. Its history can be read in its volumes and in its relationship with the surrounding countryside. The authenticity of the mas, combined with the possibility of adapting it to suit requirements, paves the way for a project that respects its original character.
Exterior
Set within 4,935 m² (1.22 acres) of enclosed, tree-planted grounds, majestic trees provide shade and coolness. Water from the Canal de Provence supplies irrigation. The 36 m² (388 sq ft) covered terrace features a summer kitchen and barbecue, while another faces south.
The 60 m² (646 sq ft) stable includes two 10 m² (108 sq ft) stalls. There are also 40 m² (431 sq ft) of outbuildings and a fenced enclosure for horses.
Interior
On the ground floor, the living area is warmed by a fireplace. The independent Provençal-style kitchen completes this space. A pantry and garage are also located on this level.
Bedrooms
Upstairs, four large bedrooms, including a principal bedroom, are accompanied by two shower rooms and a WC. At garden level, a fifth independent bedroom provides a separate space for family and friends. This layout distributes the sleeping areas over two levels.
