Description

The 1930s legacy to the rhythm of the coast

Built in the 1930s by architects Bentz & Chauvin, this emblematic residence in Lavandou retains a distinctive architectural identity and history. It offers approximately 180 m² (1,938 sq ft) and is set in one of the municipality's most sought-after areas, in an environment where the sea takes centre stage.

The beaches of Lavandou and Saint-Clair, the port, restaurants and shops are all within walking distance. Entirely to be reinvented, the property calls for a complete renovation that could enhance its original lines and preserved authenticity. This historic foundation provides a clear setting for a project that respects the character of the place.

Le Lavandou

Le Lavandou or “The City of Dolphins” is an old fishing village on the shores of the Mediterranean. Although the name of this charming town is reminiscent of lavender, know that it would rather be inspired by the Provençal term, lavadou, which means, washhouse. Nestled at the foot of the Massif des Maures, between Toulon and Saint-Tropez, the bay of Lavandou stretches out in a green setting over 12 kilometers of coastline with 12 magnificent fine sandy beaches.
