Meet Natalie, our Bookings and Properties Coordinator for the Côte d'Azur and French Riviera
Natalie joined the Provence Holidays team in June 2026. Born and raised in Munich, Natalie came to the South of France in 1999, and she is refreshingly direct about why: she fell in love with a Frenchman. More than twenty-five years later she has lived all across the region, from the countryside to the coast, and brings a career shaped by superyachts and luxury households to the business of matching guests with the right villa.
Getting to know Natalie
Natalie's path to Provence Holidays wound through some of the most demanding corners of luxury hospitality. As a chief stewardess on superyachts and a property manager for exclusive households, she learned firsthand just how much a tailor-made solution matters when a client's requirements are anything but standard - a lesson that still shapes everything she does today
What draws her most is the art of the perfect match. "There's real satisfaction in finding exactly the right property for a demanding client, one that turns their stay into something memorable," she says. But her ambition extends well beyond any single booking: she's building lasting relationships on all three sides of the equation - guest, agency, and owner - rooted in mutual trust and respect.
That same drive shapes her work with owners. She wants Provence Holidays to be the natural first thought for any owner weighing whether to rent out their property - not just a booking platform, but a trusted partner who cares for their home with the same attention they'd bring themselves.

Why the South of France
Having lived everywhere in Provence, from the countryside to the coast, Natalie has a clear favourite season. She loves the French Riviera in the calmer months, especially autumn and early spring. "I love it when the calm returns after a hot and hectic summer," she says. Working in a place where everyone else is on holiday brings its own challenges, but for her, the rewards are obvious.
She is drawn to the mix of cultures and to the contrasts: the buzz of Saint-Tropez set against a charming village like Cotignac, with a natural environment she describes as absolutely stunning running between them. And then there is the light. Three hundred days of sunshine a year, as she puts it, "what could be better for a bavarian girl like me."
Natalie's favourite villa | Bastide Shalimar
Sainte-Maxime, French Riviera | 10 people | 5 bedrooms
Natalie's pick is Bastide Shalimar in Sainte-Maxime, chosen for its stunning view and its cosy, completely renovated interior. It is the combination she looks for: a property that impresses the moment you take in the outlook, then wraps you up in comfort once you are inside. The view is the headline. This renovated bastide looks straight out over the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, and the heated infinity pool has been positioned to make the most of it, so the water seems to spill towards the sea. Around it sit a Mediterranean garden, a shaded terrace and an outdoor kitchen with a plancha, which is where most of the day tends to end up: long lunches, slow afternoons and dinner cooked outside as the light turns gold over the bay. Inside, the renovation has been handled with a light touch. This is a character property brought up to modern standards, with five bedrooms sleeping up to ten, en suite bathrooms and air conditioning throughout. Best of all for a summer stay, the beach is only 250 metres away, close enough to wander down for a swim before breakfast. or after dinner.

For larger gatherings, Natalie recommends Domaine Three Lakes, a private 100 hectare estate with three lakes that guarantees absolute tranquility and total privacy. Its capacity is exceptional, with nine en suite bedrooms, three kitchens and multiple reception areas, so a big group can spread out without ever feeling on top of one another. The location is part of the appeal. Set in Callas, in the heart of green Provence, the estate enjoys an unspoilt natural environment while remaining within easy reach of Provençal villages, local markets and the main routes down to the Côte d'Azur.
An experience not to miss
Natalie's recommendations range across the Var and the coast. Start with the market at Lorgues, held every Tuesday, then visit the estate and chapel of Sainte Roseline. Drive the Esterel massif and the Corniche road for some of the most dramatic coastal scenery in the region, and walk out to Cap Taillat. She also suggests a boat trip to Porquerolles, and a visit to the Commanderie de Peyrassol, a wine estate as well known for its modern art collection as for what is in the glass.
Where Natalie loves to eat
For special occasions, Natalie heads to La Réserve Gayrard in Les Issambres, a waterfront table between Sainte-Maxime and Fréjus. She loves it for the refined cooking, the excellent service and an exceptional view over the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
For something more relaxed, her choice is Le 43 at Fréjus Plage, a bistrot de la mer built around seafood and local produce. She recommends it for the quality of the dishes, the impeccable service, the value for money and an unbeatable view of the summer fireworks.
Also on her list of favourite addresses along this stretch of coast: Moorea Plage, the long established beach club on Pampelonne beach at Ramatuelle; Gigi Rigolatto, serving sunny Italian cooking nearby; and Boho in Sainte-Maxime, a Mediterranean kitchen for long lunches, mezze and cocktails.
