What we love:
A large garden at the foot of the Alpilles
Olive trees, cypresses, pines, and expansive lawns surround the farmhouse, with the Alpilles mountains in the background. A shaded terrace, a pétanque court, and various relaxation areas let you fully enjoy the garden.
A 15 x 7.5 m pool with a pool house
The large heated pool is surrounded by lawns and olive trees and features a pool house with a bar, refrigerator, shower, and restroom.
Aureille and the Vallée des Baux
The Mas de l’Auro is located south of Aureille, in the heart of the Alpilles Regional Nature Park. The surrounding landscapes can be explored on foot or by bike, while Eygalières, Maussane, Les Baux-de-Provence, and Saint-Rémy are easily accessible.
Please note:
Each room has its own private bathroom or shower room and air conditioning. Several beds can be separated into single beds, a convenient arrangement for stays with multiple families or groups of friends.
Safety: The pool is equipped with three alarms, but children must be supervised at all times when near the pool.

Exterior
The Mas de l’Auro is set within a vast, typically Provençal landscaped garden, planted with olive trees, cypresses, pines, and Mediterranean species. Large lawns surround the house and the pool, with the Alpilles mountains visible in the background, offering a beautiful view from the garden and the pool area.
The large shaded terrace features a table that seats twelve, while several more intimate seating areas are scattered throughout the garden. A courtyard adjoining the kitchen, equipped with a plancha grill and a table for ten, offers a second spot for outdoor dining. A pétanque court rounds out the property, and walking and biking trails begin right at the property’s doorstep.
Pool
In the heart of the garden, the 15 x 7.5-meter heated pool enjoys a particularly stunning setting, with an unobstructed view of the Alpilles mountains. Surrounded by lawns, olive trees, and Mediterranean vegetation, it offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape.
Numerous sun loungers allow you to enjoy the view throughout the day. Just a few steps away, the pool house offers a shaded area with a bar, a full-size refrigerator, a shower, and a restroom. The pool is chlorinated and secured by three alarms.

Interior
Renovated in 2024, the Mas de l’Auro retains the character of a traditional Provençal home, with its terracotta floors, exposed beams, stone fireplaces, and furniture in soft, natural tones.
The living areas are particularly spacious: a large dining room that seats twelve, a living room centered around the fireplace, and a second TV lounge allow guests to gather together while still enjoying their own private spaces. The bright and very well-equipped kitchen features a Lacanche range, two dishwashers, a full-size refrigerator, and a wine cooler.
The six air-conditioned bedrooms each have their own bathroom or shower room. Spacious and decorated in a simple Provençal style, they overlook the garden or the pool. Several bedrooms feature adjustable beds that can be configured as double or single beds.
