An authentic Provencal farm house, with wonderful memories of children; a brother & a sister. Both, very attached to this place decided to keep their mas, witnessing their children laughs and family memories. One has completely and beautifully renovated part of the farmhouse and wishes today that it continues to live by welcoming lovers of Provence. The other has installed in joint ownership, a charming guardian who pays attention to the tranquility of the place and the well being of the people who stay there.
Located in a quiet area on the edge of the city center of Saint Remy, renovated part (140m ²), on a private plot of 900 sqm, the farmhouse will offer you a good degree of privacy and a high standard. Charming old ally with modern comfort, restored in the purest tradition, the house is spacious, bright, air-conditioned, and decorated with taste and refinement. Convivial par excellence, a beautiful stone fireplace country, beautiful spaces, easy traffic, lots of light that reflects the colors of the rooms ... A house easy to live in any season.
DESCRIPTION:
You enter through a large entrance that leads to the living room in which living room and dining area is shared space. The pretty little independent kitchen is perfectly equipped. It opens onto the large covered terrace which houses a large wrought iron table and chairs for entertaining meals on beautiful summer evenings shared with family or friends and a summer seating area, where coffee tables and sofas are installed for "the aperitif"! Separate WC, corner cupboards and washbasin, finish the ground floor.
Upstairs, 3 bedrooms from 16 to 20 m2, with large closets. Bedroom 1 offers 2 single beds in 90 with the possibility of becoming a large double bed (180). A private shower room, brings to this room a comfort and an additional intimacy. Boasting unobstructed views of the Alpilles, the other two bedrooms are also spacious and comfortable (1 bed 180 and 1 bed 160). 2 basins, a shower and a bath, the bathroom is beautiful. Comfy bathrobes are at your disposal.
EXTERIORS: "The art of the garden is the homage of man to the beauty of the world". Master landscaper, your host creates and maintains with care a beautiful garden. 900m² planted with ancient olive trees hedges and fragrant and flowering massifs. A large terrace sheltered by a pergola is equipped with a traditional stone table. It provides access to the main entrance of the farmhouse. You will enjoy the indoor garden and pretty swimming pool (8m x 4m, depth 1.50m, volumetric alarm), which is accessed by a double wooden door, guaranteeing extra safety for children and increased privacy for those who wish to be quiet and more isolated for long naps, moments of reading or rest on the sofa in the small outdoor living room protected from sunlight by a roof of old tiles. The large bay window of another small lounge, opens directly to the pool. Enclosed with a small desk and 2 armchairs, large closets, a bathroom and WC, it can easily accommodate 2 additional guests. Outdoor lighting is performed on the entire property.
