What we like best
Location: Le Mas René is only a 5-minute walk from the centre of Pernes les Fontaines. Stroll along the medieval lanes, discover all 41 famous fountains, and round off a perfect day enjoying a glass of wine from a local vintner on a restaurant terrace.
Convivial atmosphere: The large shaded terrace near the swimming pool offers more than enough space for everyone in the group to come together for a delicious meal cooked on the barbecue with fresh products from a local market!
Authenticity: This property has all the charm of Provence: Bask in the warm colours, marvel at the old beams, notice the terracotta floor tiles, and relax by the fountain, while listening to the soft burbling of the water... a heavenly setting!
Please note
Pool security: The pool is secured by a manual shutter, but it is not fenced. Therefore, we recommend that young children in the vicinity are supervised by adults at all times.
Parking: The property has two parking spaces reserved for it in the adjacent street. It is not a private and closed off parking area.
Fountain: The unsecured fountain is at the heart of the property and small children must be supervised by adults at all times when nearby.
Exterior
The light exterior wall of the Mas creates a happy and warm atmosphere in the garden. With a large interior courtyard on the east side and a large garden on the west side, this 2200 m² property has several charming corners you can choose from to enjoy the outdoors from sunrise to sunset. This is a sensual garden: Observe the diverse local plants, listen to the burbling of the fountain, and breathe in the sweet scent of Provence, as you focus your mind on the present moment to experience inner peace and calm. Taste a delicious aperitif in the summer lounge in the shade of the plane tree, enjoy dinner together on the shaded terrace, and spend the long summer evenings lounging poolside with a cool glass of rosé.
Pool
The 10 x 5m swimming pool will delight young and old alike. The pool and the large pool terrace with sun loungers and parasols lie surrounded by natural greenery and flowers, creating a tranquil atmosphere set in a peaceful landscape. Swim a couple of lengths in the glittering water, lie back on a sun lounger, and dream of your adventures in Provence. The feeling of the warm stone under your feet grounds you in the present moment in this paradise.
Interior
This 250m² Mas stretches across three floors. On the ground floor, you will find a large, well-equipped kitchen with a scullery and direct access to a terrace, as well as a reading room with a fireplace, and a leisure room with a television. The walls and furnishings have been kept in calm, neutral colours, while the kitchen features authentically Provencal and pleasantly cooling tiled flooring. The first floor accommodates two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and view of the garden and the pool. On the second floor, there are two spacious bedrooms, which share a bathroom and also benefit from a garden view.
