What We Love
A 15-hectare private nature reserve: An exceptional setting featuring meadows and forests, with several marked trails accessible directly from the property.
Panoramic view of Mont Ventoux: From the pool and outdoor areas, the view stretches all the way to the “Giant of Provence,” offering a remarkable backdrop throughout the day.
On-site wellness and recreation: A Technogym fitness center, sauna, massage room, movie theater, and pétanque court—all located within the same estate.
Location: Domaine Mariposa enjoys an ideal location in the heart of Provence. Close to the charming villages of the Auzon Valley, it offers easy access to Provençal markets, vineyards, the Luberon trails, and the landscapes of Mont Ventoux. This location provides the perfect balance between tranquility, nature, and exploring the region.
Note
A property to explore on foot: The estate features several private, marked trails for walks ranging from 15 to 40 minutes without leaving the property.
Important Information:
The spring-fed pond on the estate does not have a safety system. Extra caution is recommended with young children.
Pool Safety: The pool is secured by two alarms, but please exercise caution when young children are outdoors.
To ensure the estate is well maintained, a caretaker lives on-site in a separate residence. As the property spans 15 hectares, the caretaker’s presence is completely unobtrusive and does not overlook the farmhouse, the pool, or the outdoor living areas, guaranteeing guests peace, privacy, and exclusivity.
Exterior
The Domaine Mariposa spans 15 hectares of unspoiled nature, offering a unique setting where meadows and woods alternate. This private nature reserve allows guests to fully enjoy the tranquility of Provence while remaining close to the picturesque villages of the Auzon Valley.
Pool
The stunning 15-meter-by-5-meter stone pool blends harmoniously into the estate’s natural landscape. With a depth that gradually increases from 0.8 to 1.8 meters, it’s perfect for both relaxation and morning laps.
Set against an exceptional panoramic view of Mont Ventoux, it is one of the most beloved spots on the property. The landscaped pool decks allow guests to fully enjoy the Provençal sun in a peaceful and unspoiled setting.
Interior
The interior spaces of Domaine Mariposa blend Provençal charm with contemporary comfort. The double living room offers several areas for relaxation, while the library, featuring a unique collection of books, lends a warm atmosphere to the property. The fully equipped kitchen, centered around a La Cornue stove, meets the expectations of both food enthusiasts and private chefs.
For entertainment, guests can enjoy a movie lounge with a video projector and a gaming console. The estate also features a full wellness area including a sauna, a massage room, and a professional gym equipped by Technogym.
Bedrooms
Domaine Mariposa accommodates up to 12 guests in six air-conditioned rooms, located in the main farmhouse and a separate cottage. Each room has been designed as a comfortable retreat and features its own en-suite bathroom. Some offer additional amenities such as a walk-in closet, a private sitting area, or direct access to the estate’s gardens.
