Location: this property is situated on the outskirts of the gorgeous village of Maussane-les-Alpilles, just a few minutes walk from the centre and close to a variety of hiking trails in the Alpilles.

Things to note
Pool Safety: the pool is secured by a roller shutter, but we recommend that young children are supervised.
Semi-Detached: although the property is semi-detached, there is no vis-à-vis.

This 10m x 4m private swimming pool is secured by a roller shutter. It is heated to 27 degrees from 15th May to the end of September for your comfort.

This wonderful 162m2 country house boasts a spacious lounge, four private bedrooms and dining room with access to a modern and fully-equipped kitchen.

What an amazing Gite to have a relaxing break
We spent an amazing 3 weeks at Stephane and Claire’s amazing converted farm house. A wonderful home with three ‘ en-suite’ bedrooms upstairs and 4th off the lounge which we used as the TV room. A 5 to 10 minute walk into the village and all its restaurants and on the door step of some amazing places to visit…. Heaven Will certainly look to stay again
Beautiful home in lovely location close to wonderful French town
We couldn’t have asked for a better villa and location for our holiday. We travelled with our two young children for a week, the house has all amenities and it beautifully presented. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The house is a 5 minute walk from a charming town with lots of restaurants, bakery, butchers etc. we visited the local market on Thursday which was full of lovely french produce.
Mas Alpilles
Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay here very much. The biggest positives were the very nice and very helpful owners, the excellent location of the property (very close to the beautiful Alpilles and two wonderful golf courses, walking distance to the village, 15 min to Saint-Remy, 45-60 min to nice beaches). Also the kitchen was very well equipped, although the "camping-style" cutlery does not really fit with the environment. A couple of suggestions for improvement: - A fully covered sitting area outside, so you can still sit and eat outside if it would be raining. The thatch cover only stopped very light rain, and one part (1/3) is not covered at all. - A lounge / couch area outside (there is space enough) - A corner with a boules court would be nice (we improvised) - Parasols that fit the feet so that they do not fly off when it gets windy - The pool could do with a good scrub at the back (small layer of green algae showing) and the sides (black edges) And there were some small things that were inconvenient: - The air vent in the big shower on the 1st floor was not working. Also here, the toilet is open and behind the shower, and if one has just showered you get wet feet. - The shower in the Master bedroom at the back is the only one really on-suite, but unfortunately it is quite small and includes the WC (no separation). The owners are currently renovating another property in the same village that looks amazing, and we will check the website for news on that.

Maussane-les-Alpilles
At the foot of the Alpilles chain and a few kilometers from Baux-de-Provence, Maussane is a pleasant village which stretches out in a valley in the middle of olive groves. Center of olive production, it has some historical curiosities and offers visitors typical Provence activities.
