A charming villa in the heart of the Alpilles
What we like
Style: every inch of this masterclass property has been lovingly designed and created: with every lamp, coffee table and mirror being carefully arranged to compliment the unique Provençal landscape.
Outdoors: with several terraces and a large heated infinity pool, the beautiful outdoors is simply irresistible at the Bastide de Maussane.
Maximum Comfort: all five bedrooms are finished with the highest quality furnishings, air conditioning and private limestone bathrooms to ensure absolute bliss.
An 18th-century Provencal Bastide (350m2) that can comfortably accommodate ten people with a garden on a 1 ha plot and a large heated infinity pool with breathtaking views of the Alpilles park. Several terraces and dining areas, including a cosy terrace for breakfast, a terrace with a table for twelve people in the shade of the roses and another dining area in the pool house, with a large table for fourteen people and the summer kitchen equipped with a barbecue. A boules court is also set up to better immerse oneself in the local lifestyle.
Exterior
This holiday home offers several terraces and dining areas, including a cosy breakfast terrace, a terrace with a table for twelve people in the shade of the roses and another dining area in the pool house, with a large table of fourteen people and the summer kitchen with barbecue.
There are several trails around La Bastide de Maussane and every excursion is an opportunity for many discoveries. Mountain bikes are at your disposal to allow you to cross the surrounding countryside with complete peace of mind. Many activities are possible nearby and in the region: hiking in the Alpilles, tennis, golf, quad biking, gliding ...
We can also organise excursions in the surrounding towns... rent a boat to go to the wild beaches of the region or discover the gastronomic heritage of Provence by visiting the many markets, wine cellars and organic farms located in the neighboring villages.
Pool
After a long siesta and a few laps of the heated infinity pool, there is nothing better than a game of pétanque to fully embrace the local lifestyle.
Interior
On the ground floor of the Bastide, the large living room (80m2) with its high bay windows opening onto the terrace and the swimming pool, its massive stone fireplace, its cosy sofas, colourful carpets and antique furniture found in flea markets. Overhanging, a dining area organised around a heavy solid oak table. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooking range and a wine cellar. It retains a traditional look with its high cornice furniture, its large glazed shelves and its bronze-colored travertine worktop for cooking with friends, and tasting good dishes in a warm atmosphere. Two pretty bedrooms are also located on the ground floor, with direct access to the gardens to enjoy the first rays of the sun. Upstairs, three spacious bedrooms including two master with a spectacular view for enchanted awakenings. For comfort, large beds, bathrooms or showers in limestone, double sinks, dressing rooms and other facilities depending on the rooms. All are air-conditioned and equipped with high-end bedding with horsehair, wool and latex mattresses. Le Labo amenities are made available in the bathrooms and a high level hotel service makes any stay at La Bastide de Maussane a pure moment of relaxation.
