What we like

Tranquility: this contemporary house allows you to completely unwind whilst contemplating a sublime Luberon landscape of unspoiled nature, wooded valleys, fields and the village of Saint-Martin-de-Castillon on the hillside. A 180º view!
Location: beautiful hikes, visits to lavender fields and bike rides can all be organised from this region of the Vaucluse.
Light: the living room's large bright spaces open directly onto the garden, providing the ideal indoor-outdoor space.
Heated Pool: the large heated swimming pool, thanks to its stunning views, is the perfect place to relax after a long day exploring the region.

Pool Safety: the pool is secured by an alarm.
Maximum Capacity: the property can accommodate a maximum of four adults and is not suitable for children.
Seclusion: the house is ideal for those looking for peace of mind whilst being close to nature; the nearest village is 9.5km away.

Exterior

At an elevation of 500m, this property has an incredibly impressive view of the Grand Luberon, the Calavon valley and the village of Saint-Martin-de-Castillon: a typically Provençal landscape. The large four-hectare plot is in a very natural state with Mediterranean plantations, olive trees and fruit trees. The shaded terrace, facing south-west under a large awning, allows you to enjoy unforgettable meals and evenings gazing at the stars.

Pool

Enjoy a swim in the large heated (to a maximum of 24°C) 17m x 4m pool or admire the landscape from the tranquil pool terrace complete with six deckchairs. From here, you can listen to the chirping of birds and the sweet hum of cicadas in absolute bliss.

Pool heating availability and pricing

1 June to 30 September: €300 /week
Outside of these dates, pool heating is not available unless agreed in advance with the owner.

Interior

Villa Lavandin's very neat decoration, with tasteful and contemporary bespoke furniture completes the personality of this modern building, well arranged to take advantage of the space. On the ground floor, the modern, well-equipped kitchen is part of the large living-dining room and overlooks the exterior. Two ensuite double bedrooms are located on the ground floor, of which one has direct access to the outside.

For those seeking peace and isolation it is the perfect retreat

We absolutely fell in love with this place and location! Set in the heart of the Luberon, at 500 meters in the hills, for those seeking peace and isolation it is the perfect retreat. It has landscaped gardens with a lovely swimming pool. The house has been carefully designed with a contemporary feel that works well with the surroundings and with lavish interior design. Excellent internet and home furnishings to satisfy every need and make you feel at home. The owner and housekeeper are always available to help sort out practicalities at any time. Stock up at a big super market before arrival as local shopping is limited. 2 huge fridges(including ice maker) and freezer available to store everything. We have been looking for a place like this for many years and will definitely be back next year
