What we like

Location: just five minutes from the centre of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, the home of the third-largest antiques market in Europe, this beautifully-renovated 17th-century farmhouse is less than 30 minutes from all of the perched villages of The Luberon

Outdoor Activities: at Mas de la Lône, you can play basketball, pickleball or ping-pong, bounce on the large trampoline or embrace the local lifestyle with a game of boules in the evening... perfect for active people who love spending time outdoors. If it's too hot outside, why not use the air-conditioned gym?

Private Annexe: the two bedrooms on the ground floor can be separated from the rest of the house to form a private apartment which features its own lounge, kitchen and direct access to the internal and external courtyards.

Pool Security: the swimming pool is fully fenced, but extra care is still needed with young children.

Renovated in 2022 with the utmost care and consideration, Mas de la Lône offers beautiful artwork and luxurious modern furniture throughout, offsetting perfectly the old stones and beams of this 17th-century farmhouse. On the ground floor, you will find the fully-equipped modern kitchen which opens onto the large living room with bay windows. A corridor provides access to the laundry room and the private annexe with two ensuite bedrooms, lounge and small kitchen. In the centre, there is the main courtyard complete with summer lounge, outdoor kitchen and a pretty shaded dining area. From here, you have access to the main living room, two-bedroom annex, upstairs to the bedrooms and out to the garden. A large well-equipped air-conditioned gym can be reached via the entrance hall and also leads to a fully enclosed additional courtyard with table tennis.
Up the beautiful marble staircase, there are three more double bedrooms each complete with air conditioning and private bathrooms. With table football on the large landing, this level also features a home cinema with a large TV screen and comfortable sofas that are ideal for relaxing with your loved ones.

An impeccable stay

This is an impeccable home. It somehow manages to feel spacious and modern while also being cozy and comfortable. We spent our mornings exploring nearby villages and our afternoons swimming, cooking in the incredibly well-equipped kitchen, and playing in the beautiful gardens. Our four year old had the time of her life (and loved the toys that were available in the TV room!). Carole the property manager arranged a number of things for us and was incredibly helpful. She lives in the area and gave us amazing recommendations. Our only disappointment was being told that the pizza oven, though featured in the images as well as the guidebook, was not to be used by guests. We were really looking forward to using it, so that was unfortunate. Otherwise, the property was beyond all our expectations and we would certainly stay again.

This property will blow you away!

Everything was a 10/10...Literally. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We went during a heat wave so the pool was absolutely necessary! The house was so nice and large that even staying inside a lot there was plenty of room for everyone to sprawl out. The kitchen and grill were perfect and we actually cooked in almost every night because the house/property was so relaxing. Carolyn, the house manager was beyond lovely and was so helpful answering any questions we had. We will absolutely rent this villa again.

We had a wonderful family holiday here for a week in May. We were three generations and the accommodation was perfect. The Villa is secluded with a beautiful garden and the pool and its facilities are excellent -we especially appreciated the gated pool with young children and pool side toilet and kitchen/bar facilities. The outdoor seating areas /Bar-b-q and well equipped kitchen made catering easy and sociable The children loved the trampoline and the adults enjoyed the pickle ball Bedrooms were spacious and beautifully furnished The Villa was of a very high standard and the local concierge could not have been more helpful Isle de la sorque is within walking distance and there are plenty of activities around for all ages We have already recommended the Villa to friends and hope to return ourselves It was great thank you
