A delightful property oozing with period charm located just 10 minutes from Lourmarin and 40 minutes from Aix-en-Provence.

What we like
Outside: the large heated pool and pool house, boulodrome with views of the vast grounds.
Location: in the countryside but only a few minutes drive to Cucuron village.
Grand design: the house wears its centuries lightly, the original floor tiles are everywhere and you feel a connection to the past. The thick walls help keep the house cool in summer too.
Things to note
Pool security: the pool has an alarm for security, but parental supervision is still needed for young children.
Housekeeper: a housekeeper lives in a separate cottage on the grounds and is available (or not) to offer conciergerie services.
Exterior
The grounds (5 hectares) surrounding this property are vast. Ideal for enjoying a walk or cycling. There is a ping pong table and boule court that is lit in the evening. Around the heated pool there is a pool house, shaded dining area and shaded terrace for enjoying an aperif with the family or amongst friends.
Pool
Large 12m x 6m heated swimming pool accessed by steps with a shallow end of 1m and a deep end of 2.2m. with pool house, shaded dining area and shaded terrace.
Interior
Downstairs, just off the hallway, is the living room with stone fireplace, sofas and French doors that open onto the garden. Next to the living room is the TV room with satellite TV with English-language channels, WiFi internet, DVD and entertainment systems. The spacious kitchen opens onto the poolside and has a 'range' cooker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave and all the equipment you might need. There is also a utility room with washing machine and dryer. The dining room with log fire opens through French doors, south to the parkland and north to the pool.

Thank you for a wonderful stay
We have had another amazing stay! We have been renting this villa for the past couple of years and every year we enjoy it more than the last. It is a beautiful villa done to a very high standard. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom which really allows for privacy when staying with a big group. The owners and caretakers are lovely and incredibly service-oriented; from helping with pre-arrival wine / other orders to restaurant recommendations and bookings to taxi arranging and more. They are incredibly knowledgeable of the area and have not let us down with recommendations for local wines, restaurants, attractions etc. I cant Recommend this house enough. We booked the same week for next year before we even left. We have also stayed at their other property in Cucuron (Les Vadons/Vallons) which is equally amazing. Cucuron is a charming little village in walking distance from both villas and has all of the amenities you need - great restaurants (including one with a Michelin star, supermarket, butcher, bakery, great wine shop and others). Thank you for a wonderful holiday!
A Lovely Family Holiday Home
This is the only villa we have ever returned to. The setting amongst the mountains, just shy of Cucuron village, and in the glorious fields of flowers is stunning. The house is well laid out and cosily furnished to accommodate a large family (like ours) and additional guests (we had both of our mothers). The housekeeping service is a bonus, and feels really indulgent. We spent so many wonderful days pottering around the garden, lounging by the pool, and using the alfresco dining area. A super house, in a beautiful setting. A truly memorable and happy holiday.

Cucuron is one of the most beautiful villages in Vaucluse, in the Luberon National Park. It has retained its Provençal authenticity and its atmosphere exudes an old-fashioned charm. Its heritage, its natural environment and its taste for good cuisine make it a very pleasant place for holidays.
