Villa for rent Provence for 10 people

What we like

  • Outdoor fun:  The house is really well equipped for summer, from total leisure round the heated pool to al fresco dining with great views, to the various sporting activities – tennis, boules and ping pong.
  • Location:  This is an ideal spot, quiet and peaceful in the ‘golden triangle’ of the Luberon, between the outstanding villages of Lacoste and Bonnieux.
  • Views:  With its raised position, there are wonderful views east to Bonnieux, west to Lacoste, and south to the Luberon mountain.

Things to note

  • Pool:  The pool has an alarm for security but extra care should be taken with young children.

The house comes into its own in the 6 months of outdoor living one can enjoy in Provence. With a large heated pool and sunbathing area for lazy days, its terraced garden over 3 acres, tennis court, floodlit boulodrome and ping pong, as well as glorious views, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the property.

The heated pool measures 12m x 6m (40 x 20ft) and has a diving board. The pool has a security alarm. Around the pool are 10 sunloungers and the view is across to the Luberon mountain.

To the side of the house is the hardcourt tennis court and alongside is the boules/pétanque court, which is floodlit for night play.

For outdoor eating there is a choice of the dining table with view at the front of the house, under full shade, or the table on the upper terrace with magnificent view to Bonnieux and the shade of the oak trees. There is a large gas barbecue.

The house is in a very peaceful country setting, on a hill of oak trees, with a private drive and plenty of parking.

A 4-bed/5-bath villa in quiet countryside between Lacoste and Bonnieux, with large heated pool, tennis court, boules/pétanque court, and splendid views of the Luberon mountain and valley.

Great for Families

This has been our second stay and won't be the last. The house and grounds are spacious and ideal for large families with children of any age. The standard of accommodation is very good and the grounds well maintained. The grandparents loved sittng out on the various terraces and the views to the different villages are fantastic. Great for landscape painting! The children enjoyed the freedom of the grounds and the pool is heated and alarmed - so really family-friendly. We have enjoyed exploring the region and the coast is not far, some of the local vineyards are definitely worth a visit! The countryside is very beautiful in the early summer and late September when we have visited, and we found a good choice of local restaurants and shopping.

Location! Location! Location!

This property really ticked all the boxes and I'd go back in a heartbeat. Far enough (5 mins drive) from Bonnieux to feel like you have your own little oasis, but close enough to think nothing of popping out to the fantastic bakery each morning for fresh baguettes and croissants...and back again for cocktails or a wonderful dinner. Tasteful bedrooms and furnishings teamed with a well equipped kitchen, plenty of room to spread out and enjoy your time - what more could you ask for? Two external options for dining, each sitting 10 and one with a simply stunning view out across the valley. Huge table to seat 10 inside too.The pool was a lovely addition and well used during our stay. The fitter of us loved the tennis courts - great to have good sports equipment on the premises too. Lots of lovely nooks to grab some quiet time, with more comfortable seating areas other than the main living space inside meant that we never felt crowded. There were lots of things to keep children amused too, had any of us thought to bring any! :-) less selfish next time perhaps. It's a great base from which to explore, but so welcoming to come home too - on the practical side, well lit at night, not many steps and plenty of space to park multiple vehicles. My biggest worry when hiring somewhere is often what the beds will be like - need not have worried as they were perfect too. Lovely house that really feels like home.

Highly recommended, beautiful house,super location

Exceptional property, situated beside two picturesque villages. Excellent facilities for all age groups, spacious for extended family members. Perfect location for nature lovers, several forest walks close by. Highly recommend, will definitely be back.

Please note the property location is approximate only, in order to protect the owners privacy.

The ancient fortified village of Bonnieux is perched high above the Combe de Lourmarin, dominated by the ancient church which marks the skyline. The village has a wonderfully Provençal appearance, and is a great base for walking and cycling holidays as well as the wider exploration of the Luberon area.
