What we like best

Location: Withdrawn in the countryside of the Luberon, the Bastide Neuve is still only three kilometres from the village. A pretty path, inviting you to a leisurely stroll, connects the Bastide to the village. Surrounded by 27 hectares of private land, this holiday estate allows you to immerse yourself in nature and explore the Luberon privately with your family and friends.

Activities onsite: Inside or outside, on this estate you will never get bored! Outside, you profit from a pool, a whirlpool, and a synthetic tennis court of 23 x 8 metres, while inside, you can enjoy a very nice pool table, a games room with table football, retro-gaming, and many board games and books for adults and for children. This makes the property ideal for families and groups of friends seeking fun, games, and entertainment.

Additional services: Indulge yourself and order a delicious breakfast for yourself, which is freshly prepared and delivered the same morning, allowing you to start your day well-nourished and full of energy. In the evening, treat yourself to a private wine tasting directly on site. The wine cellar offers more than 10,000 bottles of unique and exceptional wines for sale. These services are extra and are not included in the rental cost.

Pool Safety: The pool is secured with a fence and a cover, but we recommend that young children are supervised by adults at all times when nearby.

Pond/Fountain: This property has an unprotected fish pond, and young children should be supervised by adults at all times when nearby.

Bathroom: 1 bedroom has 1 en-suite bathroom, 3 bedrooms have 1 en-suite shower room. The 4 other bedrooms share 2 shower rooms on the 1st floor. However, all 4 bedrooms have a private washbasin for added comfort.

Air-conditioning: The Bastide has an air-conditioning unit to cool bedroom 1, the "suite". However, as the Bastide is built of period stone, the owners guarantee a very pleasant coolness throughout the summer, particularly on the ground floor thanks to the thickness of the walls.

Exterior

This 27-hectare property is ideal for nature lovers and their four-legged friends and offers a stunning, 360° view  across the surrounding countryside and the peaks of the Luberon mountain range. Start your hikes directly from the house to explore the picturesque landscapes of the protected Luberon natural regional park. Climb the slopes to arrive at the viewpoints and be rewarded with unbelievable views over the valley. Back at the house, you can stroll in the shade of the century-old oak tree, observe the pond fish, or frolic with your dog, before you enjoy a delicious, barbecued dinner under the pergola, surrounded by the gardens and natural landscape. Bicycles are at your disposal for bike rides around the estate. There is also a cricket set.

The synthetic finish is very gentle for the joints and provides a comfortable playing experience. The court was renovated only recently.

Pool

Dip into this generously proportioned swimming pool (14 x 7 m) surrounded by olive trees and truffle oaks, or lie back on the pool terrace. This is the perfect place to immerse yourself in a good novel in the shade of parasols. After a long, active day of exploring in the Luberon there is nothing more relaxing than to wind down in the jacuzzi and let yourself truly rest and recover.

Interior

This authentic 500m2 property offers a friendly, well-equipped kitchen with a large dining room under magnificent stone vaults, (the dining table of exceptional proportions can accommodate up to 20 people), a spacious living room with a beautiful fireplace, a large American billiards table as well as a large games/relaxation room of 50 m2 for the enjoyment of the whole family and a sleeping area on the mezzanine.

All the living spaces on the ground floor lead to a shaded terrace, the garden, the swimming pool, the tennis court. An independent double bedroom is also located on the ground floor.

On the first floor, you will find 1 spacious suite offering a magnificent view of the garden and the forest, as well as 5 other double bedrooms and a library, all in a very friendly atmosphere. One of the bedrooms offers many games and books for children. The Library with bench seat also gives access to the private terrace and offers beautiful works on Art, Wine, Provence, Cooking, Health etc., but also numerous novels and around a hundred books in English.

In the living room, a YAMAHA digital piano is available (clavinova CLP 545 model) with powerful sound, 256-note wooden keyboard imitating the touch of an acoustic piano. A laundry room with washing machine and dryer is also available on the ground floor.
