What we like best

Historic property: This ancient stronghold of the Knights Templar has been superbly restored while protecting all of its unique historic features. Step into the medieval past as you live in the original towers amongst stone-carved emblems and other authentic features, overlooking the splendid valley of the Mont Ventoux, with vineyards, olive groves, and lavender fields all the way to the horizon.
Outdoor Spaces: Enjoy a beautifully landscaped garden with a tennis court and no fewer than three different shaded terraces to choose from. Relax under the shade of centuries-old trees and inhale the wonderful scents of the blooming, mediterranean flowers all around.
Pool: The superb 15 x 8 m pool lies surrounded by the gorgeous Provencal countryside and offers a 180° view of the valley. Sit back and enjoy a glass of rosé under parasols after a relaxing swim. 

Exterior

Situated on 3,8 hectares of beautifully-landscaped grounds with lavender, vines, and olives, this outstanding property offers different spaces to gather as a family or a group of friends, to play a game of tennis by the lavender field, or relax solitary in the shade of centuries-old trees. Enjoy the variety in this landscaped and terraced garden with a multitude of local flowers and plants which compliment this historic site, and stroll in the private park while admiring the Mont Ventoux Valley. Find your personal favourite spot to sit and relax, either with the backdrop of the scenic countryside, or with the old, medieval building partly covered by climbing vines in the background. Embrace the local lifestyle with a game of boules or cook a delicious meal in the summer kitchen before dining on the shaded terrace with your loved ones, as the sun sets over the Provence and bathes the landscape in golden light. 

Pool

Go for a cooling swim in this 15 x 8 m swimming pool overlooking the valley, admire stunning views of the property's vast grounds, and relax on the nearby sunloungers in the shade of parasols. The large size of the pool means that there is enough space to keep fit with a couple of powerful strokes, as well as to play and splash around, and to simply let yourself float. The stone-built pool house allows you to prepare a delicious barbecue meal and dine comfortably in the shade by the side of the pool.

Interior

Visit the Château des Templiers to travel back in time. This property has been conscientiously renovated to keep and highlight as many original features as possible. Enjoy the odd and crooked shapes, the cooling tile floors, the imposing staircase, the haptic stone walls, the medieval decorations, and, of course, the solid wood-beamed ceilings, the quintessential feature of traditional Provencal architecture. There are two large living rooms on the ground floor, each opening up to a different garden, as well as a dining room with access to two different shaded terraces, and a well-equipped kitchen, where you can experiment with mediterranean flavours and ingredients to your heart's delight. This medieval building nevertheless also boasts a small office for modern remote work, and a fitness room. Climb the large, stone-built staircase adorned with ancient tapestries and feel like the lords and ladies of the past as you ascend to the first floor, where you will find eight comfortable ensuite bedrooms, each with their own historical and quirky character, with beautiful countryside views. Live and sleep there where Templar knights formerly worked the land and supplied expeditions to the Holy Land.
