Located in the heart of the triangle of "Vaison la Romaine, Nyons and Buis Les Baronnies", the magic of Chez Cécile will delight you upon arrival! The 180° views over the lively villages of Faucon and Puymeras, in the middle of the olive groves and vineyards of the famous Côtes du Rhône are simply stunning. In the background, you can watch the majestic Mont Ventoux change colour throughout the day.
Nestled in the hill, the large summer kitchen and bar open onto the natural spectacle of this unique view. The infinity pool allows you to enjoy the panorama by cooling off during the hottest hours of the Provençal sunny days.
The house is located near many tourist sites, such as Vaison-la-Romaine, Nyons, or Buis Les Baronnies, which are only 15 minutes away, as well as 2 minutes from the typical Provencal villages of Faucon and Puymeras. A little further, you can explore the proximity of some of the "most beautiful villages of France" like Sablet or Séguret, with their narrow streets, Romanesque churches, abbeys and castles. An hour away, the city of Avignon, ancient city of the Popes, also offers unique cultural insights. Its famous street Festival, every year in July, is one of the most important theatre and live performance events in the world.
This part of Provence is also famous for its gastronomy, traditional markets and fresh produce: apricots, almonds, cherries, tomatoes, aromatic herbs, local cheeses, without forgetting the famous olive oil from Nyons.
From mid-November to mid-March, every Saturday the village of Richerenches (30km from the property) hosts the largest truffle market in Europe. The region is also full of renowned wine estates: Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Châteauneuf du Pape, Cairanne, Vinsobres...
Finally, this region has unlimited sports potential: a paradise for cyclists, hikers, whitewater swimming, horseback riding, climbing... It is also possible to leave directly from the property and take a walk to enjoy marked trails offering splendid views. The most courageous will attempt the ascent by bike of the Mont Ventoux, whose summit culminates at 1911 metres. On the way back, you can enjoy the Spa in Malaucène where relaxation and well-being are waiting for you!
