Beautiful modern villa in La Roque-sur-Cèze
Magnificent 3 bedroom villa combining the charm of old with modern comfort
La Villa Cèze is an attractive, stone-built 'maison de village' perched within the hilltop village of la Roque-sur-Cèze. This stunning village, situated perfectly between the city of Avignon, the Roman town of Uzés and the Gorges of the Ardeche is officially classed 'plus beau village de France' and 'village de caractère'.
The 3 bedroom, 2 bath villa has been lovingly renovated in a modern style in comfortable contrast to the traditional stone facade of the house and the enclosed courtyard; it includes A/C throughout the villa.
At the heart of this sunny terraced area is an ancient olive tree around which al fresco dining is a delight. Ample terrace furniture is provided so everyone can relax and make the most of the crystal-clear water of the swimming pool.
La Villa Cèze has three bedrooms (one double room with en-suite and two double rooms with one separate bathroom and two separate toilets). The house offers Wi-Fi, satellite TV, TV, Air Con, DVD Player, Internet, open fire, central heating, wood-burning stove and more. The Outdoor Facilities includes a gas barbecue, parasols, patio, sun loungers and Terrace Furnitures.
At the base of the hill upon which la Roque-sur-Cèze sits the River Cèze passes. Here you will find the Sautadet cascades which flow all-year-round. The river irrigates the surrounding countryside which is dominated by vines.

Great property
Une belle maison. A lovely village. Tranquil. The cascades, just at the bottom of the hill, are spectacular. The house is very comfortable, extremely large and well equipped. The bed is very comfortab le. There's plenty of wood for the log burner which warms the whole house! There is an endless supply of hot water too. Its fabulous! We enjoyed our stay very much. Lionel is a lovely man, very helpful. We will stay here again.
Great vacation week.
Although we frequently rent villas, we were immediately and pleasantly surprised by the overall quality and cleanliness of the villa, worthy of an excellent hotel. The high qual ity linens were supplied in sufficient quantity that we didn't have to do laundry frequently. There were beautiful dishes in the kitchen so that even on vacation we could set a lovely table. Everything is very harmonious - the beauty of the house and its smallest details. The kindness and helpfulness of the owner made a difference in our stay; you could see the attention in the smallest details: (books, DVDs, wood for the fireplace.) We spent a wonderful week where the peaceful surroundings allowed to really relax and recharge. Thank you for this place and your kindness.
One of our best ever.
A beautiful home in a fabulous location. My husband, I, and our 2 German Shepherd dogs stayed at Villa Cèze for 2 weeks and had a truly amazing holiday, The hous e is ideally located in the centre of La Roque sur Ceze, a very picturesque hill top village, a 10 minute walk to La Cascades, the stunning natural waterfalls. It is next door to 'La Ceze' Restaurant, run by Philippe and Karine (superb hosts) where the service is excellent; it serves some of the best food we have ever tasted and is without doubt, in our opinion, the best restaurant not just in La Roque sur Ceze but in the whole region. The house itself has a very modern and well equipped kitchen and dining area, a lovely lounge area and 3 spacious bedrooms and modern bathrooms. The pool and garden area is also fully enclosed, so great for us with our dogs. The house would be good to rent at any time of year as it also has a huge log burner in the lounge to use in the winter months. The owner could not have been more welcoming and did everything he could possibly do to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Thank you Lionel for helping to make our stay at Villa Cèze one of our best holidays ever and full of happy memories.
