Pool Safety: the pool has a security fence and a manual shutter, but extra care is needed with younger children.
Security: the property is protected by electric gates which operate from 10pm to 7am, due to the proximity of nature and wild boars. Video surveillance can be easily disconnected or connected.
To the north, you can relax in the summer lounge with an aperitif whilst being sheltered from the sun. To the south, between the olive trees, you can play table tennis, table football and boules. The large table and gas plancha are located under a shaded pergola near the dining room. Other smaller tables with parasols are set up on the terraces.
You have paths, two fountains, a pond and six hectares of varied landscapes and plantations to enjoy. The views are undoubtedly a source of peace, and your evenings will be spent admiring the starry sky whilst spending time with your loved ones in a garden which is transformed by its night lighting.
The fenced, heated 10 x 5.5m swimming pool is surrounded by a beautiful, easily accessible beach with a gentle slope. It has 12 deckchairs, a summer lounge, a shaded pergola and an outdoor shower. With its pool inflatables, view and night lights, happy memories are guaranteed!
The property is on two levels: you can either enter on the first floor with its four air-conditioned ensuite bedrooms, or walk around to the ground floor where you will find a fifth double double bedroom with air conditioning, an ensuite bathroom and wide doors on your left. To the right are the reception rooms: living room, dining room and kitchen. The gym and laundry room are on the same level.
This beautiful property sleeps up to 10 guests in 5 comfortable bedrooms all complete with air conditioning, TVs and ensuite bathrooms for your comfort and peace of mind.

Bastide des Chênes is a spacious, extremely comfortable and well equipped house in extensive grounds which include a beautiful pool and spectacular views over the valley. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all completed to a high specification. The photos advertising the house do not do it justice, it really has to be seen to appreciate the quality. On arrival we received a very warm welcome from Francois, who was also always available via phone to deal with any questions. When we were there in late June/early July we were enthralled by the extensive variety of butterflies on the lavender and birdsong from the surrounding woodland. The house is rurally situated so there is no shop within short walking distance but the small shop at Murs is only a short drive from the house. This was one of the best of many places in Provence that we have stayed at over the years.

"Le diable est dans les détails" : le soin apporté à la décoration et aux détails, à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur, force l'admiration. La qualité des équipements (dont la connectivité) a été fort appréciée. La gentillesse des hôtes et de l'équipe de maintenance complètent une offre fort agréable. Il fût difficile de quitter la Bastide...
