What we like

Village Within Walking Distance: the beautiful village of Saint-Étienne-du-Grès is just a 15-minute walk away... perfect for visiting the local shops and bakery. Many trails start next to the property.

Refined Interior: the recently refurbished interior is fully air-conditioned and offers high-end luxury furnishings. 
All Ensuite: each of the four bedrooms are complete with private ensuite bathrooms to ensure maximum comfort and peace of mind.

Things to note

Pool Security: the pool is secured by an alarm, but it has a raised edge so extra care is needed with younger children.
Children: children are welcome upon request.

Outside, the 200m2 shaded terrace offers outdoor seating, sunloungers and parasols. With views of the distant hills and valleys, this is lovely space to get together with family and friends.

This 10m x 5m heated pool can be lit up at night to create the perfect ambiance for your evening swims.

This recently restored 220m2 air-conditioned property has a bright 70m2 open-plan living room/kitchen at its heart. The kitchen, with its sleek concrete worktops, is fully equipped and features a luxury upcycled dining table.

This refined property sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 comfortable bedrooms all complete with ensuite bathrooms and air conditioning.

Beautiful Villa in a prime location
score

Chloe was an excellent host and the villa was beautifully presented. The area around the pool was lovely making it hard to drag ourselves away but the nearby villages including Remy de Provence are wonderful and we also enjoyed visiting Avignon and Arles which are close by. We also enjoyed being able to walk into the local village for bread and provisions aswell as the fantastic local restaurants ( Eidra and Auberge de Sommelier).

Tastefully decorated house with a secluded heated pool
score

A well laid out and tastefully decorated house, full of sculptures and paintings the work of owners Chloe and Eric. The spacious kitchen / lounge and one of the bedrooms opens onto a secluded terrace with a large heated pool and a backdrop of a steep bank of pine trees and natural flora including cacti, sage, rosemary etc., leading up to the wild Alpilles. Another two bedrooms open onto a covered terrace facing the village but with views as far as Tarascon, and there’s a fourth bedroom upstairs with balconies overlooking both the pool and the village. All four bedrooms with spacious private showers or baths, all with AC. Impeccably maintained, everything looked new with no evidence of wear or tear. The pool was cleaned early every morning before we got up - that’s a good measure of the owners’ attention to detail. This is a lovely part of Provence that we have visited many times. Highly recommended.

Porte des Alpilles, the village is at the crossroads of the roads going from Saint-Rémy-de-Provence to Tarascon and Arles on the one hand, from Arles to Avignon on the other. The commune covers both the northwestern part of the Alpilles and the Crau plain. Two territories with very different landscapes. This picturesque village has kept the calm, the tranquility it has always claimed.
