What we like

Location: situated half way between the Luberon and Aix-en-Provence, this property is the perfect base from which to explore the region. Just 5km away from a charming village with a pretty Wednesday morning market, at Bastide des Costes you can enjoy a peaceful countryside retreat whilst remaining close to all the best attractions.
Independence: with two independent annexes, this holiday rental is ideal for a large family or group of friends who would prefer moments of privacy during their luxury holiday.
Games Room: on the lower ground floor, you will find a games room with table tennis, an exercise bike, table football, an elliptical bike and a rowing machine.

Things to note

Pool Security: the swimming pool is secured by an alarm, but children should be supervised when nearby.
Air Conditioning: although only five of the six bedrooms have air conditioning, this bastide is very cool in summer thanks to its thick walls.

Exterior

Located at the foot of pretty hills where you can walk or mountain-bike for hours surrounded by the calming scents of rosemary and thyme, this authentic bastide is also within an hour's drive of the pretty seaside town of Cassis, famous for its creeks, or the Camargue with its pink flamingos! The typically Provencal garden boasts a vast orchard, an olive grove, roughly 600 lavender plants.

Pool

This beautiful 12m x 6m swimming pool is perfectly situated 20m from the house, surrounded by its vast lawns. Enjoy a refreshing swim on a warm summer's day or recline in the shade of an olive tree whilst admiring the sweeping countryside views.

Interior

This stunning 355m² property is composed of a main house with three bedrooms, one annexe with two bedrooms and a second annexe with one bedroom. On the ground floor of the main house, you will find a bright and comfortable living room, one office/double bedroom as well as a spacious kitchen/dining room opening onto a magnificent terrace shaded by vines. Upstairs, there is a Master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a third double bedroom with an independent bathroom. In the first annexe, there are two further bedrooms which share an independent bathroom and benefit from direct access to the garden. The second annexe boasts one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom.

On the ground floor of the bastide:
Bedroom 1: with two single beds, or one queen-sized double bed if preferred.

On the first floor of the bastide:
Bedroom 2/Master: with queen-sized double bed, air conditioning, private terrace and ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, shower, double sinks and WC.
Bedroom 3: with two single beds, air conditioning and an independent bathroom with shower, sink and WC.

On the ground floor of Annexe 1:
Bedroom 4: with two single beds, or one queen-sized double bed if preferred, and air conditioning.
Bedroom 5: with queen-sized double bed, direct access to south-facing terrace and air conditioning.
Bedrooms 4 and 5 share an indepedent bathroom with shower, double sinks and separate WC.

On the ground floor of Annexe 2:
Bedroom 6: with queen-sized double bed, direct access to two shaded terraces and ensuite bathroom with shower, sink and WC.
