Tamaris Plage
Côte d'Azur / French Riviera > Le Lavandou
Located just after Pramousquier beach, Tamaris is one of the most unspoilt areas of Le Lavandou's coastline. Accessible by an unassuming path, this private beach nestles between two rocky points, in the heart of a dense Mediterranean environment. With its clear sand, crystal-clear water and omnipresent vegetation, the setting offers a sense of isolation rare on the Côte d'Azur.
Tamaris develops an intimate atmosphere, directly integrated into its surroundings. From the moment you arrive, the site stands out for its gently sloping access to the sea and its light wooden structures and canisses, covered in vegetation.
The deckchairs, set up on the sand, feature a contrasting aesthetic with white structures and burgundy striped mattresses. The layout favors space and tranquility, allowing guests to take full advantage of the cove without overlooking it. The experience remains centered on calm, the landscape and the immediate proximity of the water.
The decor is based on simple, natural elements: driftwood, string lights and furniture inspired by the maritime world. The whole retains its coherence with the environment, without any visual break, and reinforces the discreet identity of the place.
The restaurant
The cuisine at Tamaris is simple and effective, with a focus on fresh produce. The menu features starters to share, such as squid en persillade, aperitif platters and raw fish dishes.
Main courses alternate between meat and fish, with classics such as entrecote, cheeseburger, tuna tataki and cod. Daily specials, depending on availability, complete the offer with whole grilled fish.
Desserts are offered on the spot and vary according to availability. The whole experience is enjoyed in a setting overlooking the sea, in keeping with the simple, natural spirit of the beach.
