A Perfect Retreat in Provence ملاذ مثالي في بروفانس
Our stay at this stunning house in Provence was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer space and comfort it provided. Each of the bedrooms was spacious and featured its own (also large) en-suite bathroom, ensuring privacy and convenience for all guests. In fact, all rooms were large, airy, and wonderfully cool, offering a refreshing escape from the summer heat. On arrival, we were met by Celine, the housekeeper, who showed us all of the up-to-the-minute technological gizmos the house has to offer (the house really is equipped with everything you could possibly need, the computer server for the home looks as if it’d be at home at NASA). The modern kitchen was just wonderful, having state-of-the-art appliances and well-considered touches that made us want to update our kitchen at home. And on top of mezzanine hallways and the double height living room, table tennis table, zonal air-conditioning and vacuum cleaner that’s actually built into the walls….., the cellar is converted into a large home cinema with huge sofas - perfect for letting the children unwind with a good film after a long day exploring the local towns. Outside, the high fence and large remote-locking gate provide peace of mind, especially for families with young children, so we felt comfortable letting the children run around without having to follow them everywhere. The salt-water pool was the best possible entertainment system for the children, so much so that we had to abandon a couple of day trips! We also made full use of the outdoor kitchen, which came complete with a built-in barbecue, Big Green Egg, pizza oven, fridge, freezer, and even an outdoor dishwasher. Seating for a dozen made alfresco dining a real Mediterranean family affair. Also, for entertainment, the Petanque court was a charming addition, adding a fun touch to our afternoons..
لقد كانت إقامتنا في هذا المنزل المذهل في بروفانس استثنائية للغاية. منذ اللحظة التي وصلنا فيها، أدهشتنا المساحة الهائلة والراحة التي يوفرها لنا. كانت كل غرفة من غرف النوم فسيحة وتحتوي على حمّام داخلي خاص بها (كبير أيضاً)، مما يضمن الخصوصية والراحة لجميع النزلاء. في الواقع، كانت جميع الغرف كبيرة ومتجددة الهواء وباردة بشكل رائع، مما يوفر ملاذاً منعشاً من حرارة الصيف. عند وصولنا، قابلتنا سيلين، مدبرة المنزل، التي أطلعتنا على جميع الأدوات التكنولوجية الحديثة التي يقدمها المنزل (المنزل مجهز حقاً بكل ما قد تحتاجه، وخادم الكمبيوتر الخاص بالمنزل يبدو وكأنه في المنزل في وكالة ناسا). كان المطبخ الحديث رائعاً للغاية، حيث يحتوي على أحدث الأجهزة واللمسات المدروسة التي جعلتنا نرغب في تحديث مطبخنا في المنزل. وبالإضافة إلى ممرات الميزانين وغرفة المعيشة ذات الارتفاع المزدوج، وطاولة تنس الطاولة، ومكيّف الهواء المنطقي والمكنسة الكهربائية المدمجة في الجدران.....، تم تحويل القبو إلى سينما منزلية كبيرة مع أرائك ضخمة - مثالية للسماح للأطفال بالاسترخاء مع فيلم جيد بعد يوم طويل من استكشاف المدن المحلية. في الخارج، يوفر السياج العالي والبوابة الكبيرة التي تُغلق عن بُعد راحة البال، خاصةً للعائلات التي لديها أطفال صغار، لذلك شعرنا بالراحة في ترك الأطفال يركضون دون الحاجة إلى متابعتهم في كل مكان. كان المسبح ذو المياه المالحة أفضل نظام ترفيهي ممكن للأطفال، لدرجة أننا اضطررنا للتخلي عن بعض الرحلات اليومية! كما استفدنا أيضاً من المطبخ الخارجي الذي كان مزوّداً بمطبخ خارجي كامل مع شواية مدمجة، وبيضة خضراء كبيرة، وفرن بيتزا، وثلاجة، وثلاجة، ومجمد، وحتى غسالة أطباق خارجية. كانت المقاعد تتسع لعشرات الأشخاص مما جعل تناول الطعام في الهواء الطلق شأناً عائلياً متوسطياً حقيقياً. وللتسلية أيضاً، كان ملعب الكرة الحديدية إضافة ساحرة، حيث أضفى لمسة مرحة على أوقات الظهيرة.
