Coustellet, Luberon

In the Calavon valley, between the Luberon massif and the Vaucluse mountains, the hamlet of Coustellet, at the entrance to the Luberon regional natural park, is an ideal place to stay in Provence, as it is located near many places of tourist interest.

What makes this village special?

This hamlet has an emblematic place of Provence: the Lavender Museum! A must for flower lovers and the most curious. Open all year round, it was built and developed by a family of growers and distillers over four generations. Entirely dedicated to "blue gold", its history, its perfume, its virtues and its culture, it exhibits stills, agricultural equipment and traditional costumes and also offers entertainment during the cultivation and production season.

Coustellet is also renowned for its farmers' market. People come from all over Provence to buy good local products: fruit and vegetables, olive oil, wine, honey, cheeses sold by 80 producers every Sunday morning. In summer, the market also sets up on Wednesday evening, to the delight of summer visitors. There are many activities there!

At the crossroads of the roads to Apt, Cavaillon, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and Gordes, Coustellet is the ideal starting point for exploring the region.
